A remarkable new study claims that sex before bedtime might be the key to getting a good night's sleep.
For people who want to get a better night’s sleep, the key may be to have sex right before bed, according to a new study. The research found that two thirds of people got better sleep when they had sex, but only if both parties had an orgasm.
The study surveyed 460 adults between the ages of 18 and 70, and found that 64 percent of respondents had better results when they turned off their phones and turned on each other. It’s an important finding that could help us understand what causes good sleep and what drives insomnia.
“There’s strong evidence to suggest substituting screen time for play time,” Dr. Michele Lastella told Adelaide Now. “When you’re engaging in sex, you’re not thinking about what to do the next day, you’re not going through your phones. It distracts you.”
