Those lucky enough to give the new car a spin can attest to its incredible new features.
If you’re a fan of sleek, fast BMWs, do yourself a favor and check out the new 2016 M2 right away. According to a report from Yahoo, the latest offering from the German automaker has stunned reviewers and fans alike, with the first test-drive results singing the car’s praises.
Die-hard BMW fans will probably say that their favorite car comes from other lines in the company’s roster, including the E line for its classic designs. When BMW began manufacturing the F line in 2012, loyal customers bemoaned the design changes and yearned for the classic designs of years past.
With the 2016 M2, beamer fans need not wait any longer. The “ultimate driving machine” is back.
The car is certainly not cheap – it has a starting price of $51,700 and can go even further. Test drivers gushed over the car’s sticky and responsive performance both on the track and the road.
One of the biggest and most peculiar complaints from reviewers is the way the engine noise is transmitted through the car’s speakers to make it seem louder. As engine designs become more streamlined and efficient, some of the classic rumbling noise is inevitably lost. It’s an interesting choice to amplify the noise through the car’s stereo system, but it certainly does not affect the way the car performs on the road.
The M2 sports coupe packs a serious punch, and some of the more peculiar modern features on the car can be overlooked in favor of its lightning speed and responsiveness.
