Be A Mentor The Be A Mentor program is looking for volunteers to mentor teen girls in Oakland and Hayward. Many of these girls are disadvantaged, living in a foster group home, or have been neglected or abused. These youth are in desperate need of a mentor who can spend time with them, helping them to build healthy self-esteems and giving them hope for a brighter future. Together, both mentor and mentee will create positive experiences, explore new opportunities, develop lasting memories, and enjoy their new friendship. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Kathy Morrison at (888) 232-6368 ext. 6175. kmorrison@beamentor.org http://www.beamentor.org
