A Breast Cancer Support Group That helps women address issues that surface after a diagnosis of breast cancer, meets the third Monday of every month from 1:30-3:30pm at Highland Hospital in Room 8414. Free. (925) 933-0107. A Lesbians With Cancer Support Group Meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 6-8pm at WCRC, 5741 Telegraph Ave., Oakland. Community Breast Health Project Open House and Q & A Session Every Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7pm, in an informal setting, a community physician or nurse addresses medical questions and concerns of breast cancer patients and their families. A therapist facilitates and staff/volunteers are available to connect you with other resources. No appointment or RSVP required. Healing Body Movement: Softening The Silence In Ourselves A free movement and meditation support group for caregivers and women living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
